Back to all projectsConcept: designing a beach building which organically fits in with the riverside promenade. The developer municipality required the design of a downtown riverside public beach building with changing rooms, bathrooms, buffet and an “amusement element”. We placed the required functions on a wider part of the promenade, creating a structure that resembles something shaped and softened by water. The building melts into the promenade, its walk-through roof can be used as asundeck. The required amusement element has been created by a funcable slide connecting the two river banks.
