Creation of a new “suburbcentre” in the town of Kecskemet, with residential, commercial, service and institutional buildings. The new suburb center is being created to ensure a settlement that is lively day and night, with short distances between the various functions required by the residents, as well as an adequate proportion of public-, green- and recreational areas, appropriate public transport connections with the town centre and other focal points in Kecskemet. The project started with the residential developments, and, parallel with it, the commercial and service functions are under planning. The developer required the design of “value for money”, technically average apartments. The 63 apartments built in Phase 1 of the project were handed over at the end of 2018, and the construction of the 126 apartments of Phase 2 started in 2019, in two building units. The apartments range from 2-room ones (livingroom plus bedroom), as well as studios and 3-4 room units. The façade is simple and structured, the surfaces are created with an uncomplicated plaster-architecture,in accordance with the requirements of the developer.
