Back to all projectsConcept: Two-way utilisation of a downtown plot either as a 60-room hotel or an office building. The developer expressly requested two different concepts for utilization, but both with an emblematic, dynamic façade. We prepared our first concept for a hotel. While we kept a characteristic downtown façade on the lower floors, we re-thought and created a more playful façade on the upper levels. We also created a new wing in the courtyard to ensure the placement of the required number of rooms. We prepared a second concept for an office building. This one matched the neighboring structures in height, but its façade division and building mass was much more dynamic. With this symbolic – different – façade, we also wanted to indicate that the building is not a residential one, like the ones in its neighborhood.
