Concept: Sunlight defined the emblematic shape of the building, resulting in a gradually increasing approx. 11 grade elevation mass, as well as 65-80 degrees-tilted multi level side facades. 706 apartments are being built in 3 phases - a mix of traditional smaller apartments suitable for first time homeowners, as well as larger ones for families and unique luxury penthouses. While the investor required a dense habitation of the plot, we aimed to finding a shape that will receive the most sunlight, which is why we designed reversed U and L-shaped masses on an East-West plot. With this setup, even the north facing apartments will dispose over sunny facades. While fulfilling all the given parameters set forth by the investor, we wanted to design a group of buildings which have a character, and a timeless and aesthetic facade. The development won the title “Planned Residential Project of the Year 2017” on a building industry/ real estate developer competition established by the ingatlan.com and iroda.hu group, hosting one of the strictest professional juries in the industry.
