Back to all projectsThe tender by the Municipality aimed to realize the second phase of the reconstruction of the main square in Újpest. We had to handle architectural and lanscape architectural questions that currently arise in connection with the existing functions, as well as to design the missing common spaces: recreational facilities and further green spaces. After we studied the existing condition of the square surrounding the church, we aimed to find the best position of the functions, and to create a more humane, liveable and rational structure for the square.Thus, the marketplace and flower market can organically fit into the enviroment, furthermore the church and the mayor’s office gets more free space arround them.
