Back to all projectsWe entered a national open tender and designed the extension and reconstruction of the surgery unit of the National Koranyi TBC and Pulmonology Institute, the centre of Hungarian pulmonology. The plans included the extension (by 30% of floor area) of the hospital with a new unit hosting operational theatres, as well as 1-2-bed observational and inpatient rooms; the entire medical technological system of the building had to be reconsidered as well. Due to a technical glitch, we missed the submission deadline and were disqualified, but the plans nevertheless received recognition by the jury.
