Back to all projectsConcept: opening from the inside to outside. The developing municipality wished to create a multifunctional events facility which at the same time hosts the town’s touristic center, by rebuilding an existing youth house with small, closed and fragmented spaces. Our main task was to create two halls which can be opened into each other, thus hosting concerts, exhibitions, conferences and other events. We rebuilt the opposite wings and middle parts of the existing cross-angle building, thus rethinking the old-fashioned use of space, and using mobile space dividers to create dynamic, multifunctional areas. We opened up the previously inward-looking spaces, using large glass surfaces on the outside. We dressed up the facades of the main halls with motifs resembling the forest-like external environment of the surrounding park. More: https://www.facebook.com/Turisztikai/
