Back to all projectsThe site of the water treatment plant is suitable to create a knowledge center where economic, technological/innovative, developmental/ research, enviromental and educational aims may be achieved. Thus, the institution contributes to develope the edutation of environmental awareness and sustainable development, on the national and international level. We devided the site into pieces along its axis of symmetry, the two part were connected but had different functions. Part one (theoretical) provided space for a technological/ innovation center based on renewable sources and a research/ educational campus based on international cooperation. Part two (practical) provided space for different prototypes of equipments of renewable sources and water treatment, which give assistence in education, development and experimentation. Also, we designed a showroom there where visitors can get acquainted with the renewable resources and the technology based on them in an interactive way.
